What are the dimensions of the 300g? How long have you had the french? Was it a juvi when you got it? All the ones I've seen that people have grown up from juvis never really fully change, they have adult colors but still have the yellow vertical bars. I plan to grow all my fish from juvi's, I love watching the transformation and it gives me time to upgrade!

Nice Flame !!!
DamnPepShrimp the french was a juvi when I got him 4 years ago he still has 1 bar left but the head is turning gray.
The 300g is 96"x24"x30" and has been up and running for 2 weeks .
Yea a few of my friends like to buy and sell thier fish but I also like to watch them grow. My Sailfin is 10 years old this March.

I had one of my Potter's (( was part of a pair )) die on me. So I moved the remaining Potter's into my 58 which had an existing Potter's in it. No issues at all b/t the two -- though my pink skunk pair was a little rough on the new guy for the first couple of days.

Here are some recent pictures -- any spots seen on the fish are actually on the glass.

Toddrtrex,
Very nice, I got a Potters' 10 days ago from DD, it just started eating spirulina (picking at rocks before)---how did you find such a small specimen? And did you have very much aggression at first?
What do you think I should do to help mine start eating other foods (I offer Hikari mysis and brine--finely chopped lobster, scallops, squid and shrimp)
Beatiful angels all, here's mine:

Thanks.

The small one WAS part of a pair that I got for DD a couple of months ago, the larger one made it about 3 weeks.

When I moved the smaller one into my 58 (( with another existing Potter's )) I put it in a little plastic betta container for about 18 hours. The existing Potter's was checking it out but never with any aggression. When I opened the box it swam right out and wasn't bothered --- though my pink skunk pair did chase and nip a bit.

I got lucky with both of mine starting eating almost right away. I have been feeding..... Spectrum pellets, LifeLine's herbivore mix, Rod's food (( two different types )), Prime Reef and Angel food.

Oh boy that 300g can't be ready fast enough!!!!!!!!
Wow I want a potters now
THANKS GUYS!!!!!LOL

I've always wanted a Flame Angel, so I got one the Friday after Christmas. It sometimes nips at my montipora and kenya trees but they are still growing fine.

Honestly, how did no one beat me to this?? :]

Just taging along guys. My tank isn't angel friendly, but I love the photos. :)

Chris! Wow! So what else are you hiding in those 3 55g QT tanks of yours? Very nice angels, are they all going to be able to go in the 600g? A goldflake is pretty passive and a clarion is a beast! Can't wait to see you get everything together!

ROFL @ Whys.....

CCampbell57,

You've got some gorgeous angels in there! What are you feeding the Bandit and how long have you had it?

Nick

DPS - you'll have to wait on the pics from QT. There are 4 other fish that are waiting to show their faces :). The plan is to have them all in the 600 and from what I have seen so far they should be ok. The clarion is by himself and is very active bit he is still only 4" so he will be up against a 10" emperor for baddest boy on the block. I don't see any issue due to the coloration difference and size.

Maxx - I have had the bandit since June. He eats everything I put in the tank. I started him off with spectrum pellets (his favorite) but he loves mysis as well as seaweed.
