Show off your Eels

Hey Pete, Great looking eel!!! I decided to throw in 4 3-stripe damsels for my new Haw. Dragon to eat, but never even bothered them. I then added some 1/4" local baitfish to get him to start feeding. He ignored them too. Now the baitfish and damsels have made themselves at home in the tank. Though I think the my x-hatch is picking the baitfish off. The 4 damsels are as happy as can be. Tim

Had one years ago. Got to over 4' of absolute terror. Makes quite a display if you want one eel by himself in a large tank. Also, maitenence inside the display was near impossible if you wanted to keep your hands. They are very beautiful though. Tim

I've never ever seen the tesselata here in Australia. I would set up a tank for itself if I can get one!

Just saw ANOTHER brazilian dragon moray at a fish store in NH. are these suddenly become more available?

Love the Zebras. Never kept one in one of my personal tanks , YET. Yes Brazilians seem to be more available now as well as Hawaiian Dragons as well. I searched for 2-3 months for a small Japanese or Hawaiian Dragon to no avail. After I got mine, now they easily obtained. Did anyone else see the Moray they have for sale at Atlantis. It's a African leopard. Really bad picture. Haven't tried to positively ID it yet. Tim

Better late than never I guess, lol.

Y'alls eels put mine to shame, but I still like the banded a lot. Acts about the same as a sfe, but not out near as much in the daytime as snowflakes in my experience. I'll try to get some full body shots. It'll be interesting to see if she ever changes colors.
