Haha sorry about the desjardinii. all of the full grown ones I've seen have grey. That yellow hippo tang isn't mine either, I just saw him and felt he fit this thread.

I used to have a neon goby with a blue bar acrossed the top of his head connecting the blue lines on his sides. Not sure how rare it is exactly. Anyone ever seen that before?

There's nothing abnormal about the coloration of that fish. It's just a very large adult desjardini sailfin tang. GORGEOUS fish.

My Desjardini is about 7 inches long and I've had him about 2.5 years and he still has the grey coloration. Do you think that he will eventually change to the orange coloration? Thanks
