show off your saddleback clowns

this thread is exactly what the title states

show a pic of your saddleback (if you can)

and also add in:
1. howlong you have had him/her
2. if they host anything
and 3. what size tank they are in

ill go first with having my clown for 5 months, she hosts a RBTA and a GBTA, and she is in a 29 gal biocube.

this is a large species of Clownfish. They can get nasty (think Maroon Clownfish temperment.) The black Saddlebacks are the worst. My female black saddle eliminated two other black saddles and would only co-exist with brown Saddles. I don't know of anyone breeding black Saddlebacks. Just getting them to co-exist long term is an accomplishment. I'd start with two very small individuals if trying to produce a bonded pair.
My polymnus shared two anemones in my aquarium: a blue
Stichodactyla haddoni and a Macrodactyla doreensis

Here are my terror's. They are the meanest fish Ive ever owned.

Ive had mine for 2.5 years. The female is 5" and the male is 2.5". They have an S. haddoni for a host and they are in my 125g.

Here is what they looked like when I first got them.

i like how they darkened up to that jet black color do you kno if the fish does that or the fact that they are hosting an anemone make the black

Gary Majchrzak my clown is a pansy. my small (3 in.) bicolor angel likes to pick on her. the only time ive seen her get nasty is when the angel tried to force her around the tank. she turned and gave the angel a pretty good gash on her side and took some tailfin off too. other than little event she's pretty peaceful. do you think this would make it easier to pair her.

the longer you wait to pair a Saddleback the more difficult it will become to do so. This species of Clownfish has many color variants. Although they shared the same anemones my brownies never turned dark. I'm sure that my black Saddleback would stay black no matter what anemone it hosted in. This isn't to say that anemones can't affect the coloration in Clownfish. It can- but only in certain fishes.

well i have a smaller black saddle lined up for me by sunday i guess all i can do is hope for the best, but i think ill try a breeder net so if she does want to take his head off he wont get hurt

Here's my trio......( don't have them any more....very very aggressive! )
They are a reverse of Gary's......2 black males and 1 brown female ... they hosted a gorgeous blue carpet. When I first bought the brown pair and anemone I lost the female on the trip home.....the "male" stayed alone for several months and became a female...I then added the 2 blacks and they lived happily ever after....seriously...there was a male that was the "lower" male ..he was chased a bit but that is about it...they were in a 120g

(and the odd Rusty Angel posing as a clownfish...weirdest thing!)

i just got a little guy and he is in a breeder net for his own protection the female keeps coming up and checking him out, but hasn't shown any agression so far

he's been in the tank for two days now i haven't seen any marks on him. they aren't swimming together so im hoping for the best.

I suppose these would qualify. They are in the saddle back complex and ARE half polymnus.... and half sebae.

well after a week the little guy is doing the shimmy thing. today when i got home from school he was trying to host for the first time but after a couple seconds the female saw what he was up to. now since the lights went out to my amazement they are snuggling up together with no agression.
