Show off your Tangs/Surgeonfish!!

I went diving in the red sea last year and all the naso's had streamers. But I have been told only males develop streamers... I have two blondes but they aren't a mated pair, but the bigger one has streamers and the smaller one doesn't, so I assumed male/female. I hope they will become a mated pair.
Yours look like a mated pair but they have streamers. Maybe this isnt a way to determine sexe.

My trio...

Had the Naso and the yellow for about 5 years together, they are inseparable. The kids have affectionately named the naso vacuum because of the quantity of food he eats... They are such a docile fish with tons of personality. I hand feed him but he knows who is there...will usually only take food from my hand, nervous to do it from other people. I just added the small PBT a month or so ago. Eating aggressively and adding weight daily. So far no aggression and he swims with the other tangs.

Here are a few of my tangs. I don't have the Clown Tang anymore. Got too aggressive for me. I had it for about 4 years.

So I just added a blue hippo and blonde naso tang. Both have decided not to swim around but just sit at the bottom on the sand. Is this normal or should I be worried?

I just posted this on RC, (tangs and carbon) linked to hlle.. So i was planning on running carbon,. but now im not too sure...

Please join the thread and tell me about your experiences with running carbon and your tangs (in the thread there i posted a link of some proof of activated carbon linked w. hlle)

Wow, there are some nice tangs on here. Here's my list below. They are in the process of moving into a 300dd, so I'll post some pics later.

Australian Dussumieri - about 4" still showing juvy colors
Tennatti - about 4"
Maculiceps - 6" or a little more, showing adult colors
Fowleri - 6" or a little bigger, adult colors.
Hippo - about 4", been with me the longest, have had him since he was barely an inch long.

Just picked the Fowleri and Maculiceps up from a fellow reefer a little over a week ago. They are gorgeous.

Right now the Duss, Tennatti, and Hippo are together in one QT tank, waiting for the 300dd, and the Fowleri and Maculiceps are in another QT. Can't wait to get them all together in one tank.
