Show off your Tangs/Surgeonfish!!

My purple tang. I've had him for a couple years now. He was my only surviving fish when a cucumber got sucked through my closed loop and nuked my tank. Tough dude!

The one you see in the reflection, purple with green tentacles, is a Purple Florida Flower Anemone.

Yeah, and they are VERY hardy and cheap too! About $10-$15 each.

I did a quick google image search of both species and they do seem to be very similar, so I guess it could be either one, but either way both are beautiful species.

Here is a pic of my latest addition.
He's a Fowleri tank. Also known as a Horseshoe tang. He's around 6 inches and the biggest fish in my tank. I apologize for the bad pic. I have a cheap camera and not much photo skills.

Looks great, I really love the fowleri tangs I wish I didnt already have a 9" dussu in my tank, I'd love to add a fowleri.

9" is a big fish. My 6" fowleri looked HUGE when I first put him in.
I have never had such a big fish before so it took me a while to get used to his size.
