I finally located a tomini tang last night---they wanted 60 bucks for it and would only take 5 bucks off that
Is that fair or should I look around still?

The small ones are only around $10 cheaper on live aquaria so i would say its a fair price.

I think you should look around a little more because they do go cheaper but tell the LFS to hold it for you for a week or so and do some searching around.

thanks gottcha covered on that already. Also the LFS store is not one I really like to buy fish from even though I qt them all
they always have dead fish hanging around in their tanks which I think is unprofessional and a big red flag for the reefer

So experts, help me out here...is this a pacific blue/hippo tang, or some sort of crazy mutant/variant? He's about 2+" long, and been in my tank for around 3 months. I first thought he had juvenile coloration, but after time he's much bigger than many others I've seen with the opposite (normal) color pattern...any thoughts?

I do not know that looks like a weird tang though.
