Thanks guys. He is about 4 inches..His fins are constantly open like that.. I'm assuming it means he's happy?

mine is the same-- a very bold fish and territorial--every new addition has to meet his approval--I think they are just flexing their muscles a little:lol:

You know they are on the aggressive when they back into another fish and use those razor sharp bony extensions on the caudal fin
 
hahah, ya, i threw in two new fishies a couple days ago and he constantly swam around them, keeping them in check...it's very funny.

Not sure but if not there are plenty of people around me with big systems that would love to have him

I couldn't give away a tang I raised to that size any more then I could give away my yellow lab:eek2:

---and I know my wife feels the same way---so that's why I asking questions here----I'm not a tang cop--honest---I have a sailfin, regal and yellow in my 110gal---and I don't think they would approve.

FOBMcGyver, if i didnt have my purple, i would get a yellow. :-)
I once tried adding a yellow, needless to say what happened.....
