Hey Guys and Girls,

Are small PBT's always very pale looking (light blue)? These are the only one's I've seen. As they mature, do they acquire the vibrant blue color?

Joe

I really dont know i have seen some small ones with bright colors and some light colors but i also always wondered this. But i am sure as the PBT gets older the color gets more vibrant.

If you want help with your tank then start a thread and ask away, RT6.
If you want to just post pics of your tank and its inhabitants, then do that. Don't let a bunch of forum snobs dictate what you do with your tank.

However, if you ask for advice, and don't follow it, then be prepared for some push back. Did you ever get another thermometer, btw?

OK well here is the Acropora that i picked up today at the LFS.

Here is a far away shot.

if anyone knows what kind of Acropora this is can you please tell me what it is.

Rumlad i did not get another thermometer because i borrowed one from my cousin and they were both exactly the same. The one was a digital one and the other was a Glass one.

Cool beans '6. Sorry to hijack the thread kar. last post, promise :)

It seems that you are well on your way to a successful reef tank.

Just watch the bioload in the tank now that you have introduced some coral. Keep up with the water testing.

Im not sure of the proper name of it but a website i have ordered some frags from has it named as Pearl/Rose acropora sp.

No problem RumLad if your helping a fellow reefer. Good close up show what settings do you have your camera on?

Thanks guys kar i borrowed some of my cousins testers to test my levels everything was perfect right where they need to be. Rumlad thanks for the reply yea if your helping me then stay in i dont mind. Kar i am not sure what it is but i couldnt see it being a Pearl/Rose because it has green in it. Cant really see the true color in the picture.

They had a whole bunch of corals in. I cant even name them all. They have some really nice corals. They have some of the rarest as well. All there corals are great. They did not have that much fish they are getting there shipments in tomorrow.

I'm all for that to0--that he starts his own thread for talking about the progress of his tank. This thread was great and was kept on topic until the split----now its become a Rt6 tank progress thread
Let's get it back on track the way it was with awesome tang pics.

and rt6--no offense I would love to watch your tank progress too
just not on this thread.:smokin:
