Show Us Your ORA Picasso Clowns

I spoke with ORA on my clowns and they said they have seen this happen. It is some sort of clown only disease. Always shortly after shipping and that they usually recover quickly. Evidently, the stress from shipping is what makes them suseptible to the infection. Mine are recovering quickly.

hexedagain, I can't get over how great your clowns look. I am going to change my feeding to the Rods/ORA Glo/Prime Reef. I already feed cyclopeze and have live tiggerpods to feed as well. I just hope mine color up the same way. NICE FISH!

Nice i think i going to have to order some.....i wonder if any of my lfs's carry em

Petco sells ORA glow now. i have some but my fish are so spoiled on Rods food they turn it down.

Not the best pictures but you can get a good view. These are the grade "B" clowns from ORA. From what I understand, the white on the side(s) of the grade "A" clowns is connected from front to back and flows down the side. Only one side has to be connected to be considered grade "A".

Thought I'd post mine again, sorry for the algae on the glass!

They have been burrowing under their brain coral host lately. Maybe a "pre-spawning" sign?

Sweet clowns!

Can picassos breed or are they sterile?
just like any other clownfish these can breed and create more picasso babys, seen it done a couple times, but it's alot of work! great pics guys ,trying to post one up of my saltwaterfish.com one i just got, so now i have 3 total, all in a 40 breeder and they get along as of now!!!

Nice Basser!

Picassos can breed but don't have 100% picassos, maybe 1/3-1/2 are picassos from a picasso pair.

That's O.K., I'll be ready to do some serious, selective culling!

BTW, maybe I can get my LFS to help out?

ORA directly.

I don't think you can cull until they grow and their stripes come in. By then I would just sell the regulars for whatever you can get for them. Culling would be a waste.

I would love if mine had babies. I still have the old male. He's paired with an PNG Perc. Here is a pic of them in their home.
