UMMMMM. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but those are not grade A, ORA picasso's. Semi Picasso's maybe. Sorry.
They're still beautiful fish.

Hate to contradict you, but they are Grade A, came straight from ORA. They are still babies, they don't even have their back strip yet.

These are probably about an inch long, they are very young. The guy I get these from ordered 8 Grade A straight from ORA. I unbagged from the ORA shipped bags

To the best of my knowledge, retailers can only order two ORA grade A Picasso's at a time. How did your guy get 8? Those are semi Picasso's or misbared perculas. I just hope you didn't pay $150 a piece for them. I'm not trying to argue with you. If your guy sold them to you as grade A Picasso's, he lied to you. Others will chime in before long to help set the record straight.

He's not a retailer, but has direct connections with suppliers. Just texted him to ask about grade, and he said they were ordered from ORA as grade A.

My guy just checked his ORA invoice, which shows Grade A.

I hope they do grow into their stripes. Some of the others he got in with them had better looking stripes that resembled the grade A better than these, but i just picked these two out since they had cool/different patterns.

Just check this thread later tomorrow after more clownfish nuts have had a chance to respond.

They are great looking fish now, and they will be even more impressive as they mature. If you didn't pay grade A Picasso prices for them, you probably got a good deal. Enjoy them no matter what label we put on them. My only concern is if you paid for grade A and didn't get what you were told you were getting.

2 Things:

Not Grade A Picassos
Not any grade picasso

Extreme misbar percula nothing more. Still cool but not picasso

A grade Picasso:

B grade Picasso: Non connecting from mid stripe to tail stripe or mid stripe to head stripe

If you paid big money for them you have a problem. Not trying to be mean but they aren't even close to picasso.

I agree with that.

Totaly agree with that.

They are nice but dont think they are grade A.

I am going to have to agree with "EC" here. Those sure don't look like any of the Grade A that I have seen.

I agree with you to Todd.

They are really nice looking . Very interesting and unique pattern . I wouldn't be concerned with the grade and just enjoy them .

As far as I know, they'll grow in. I'm just going by what the ORA invoice says. Maybe they messed up, who knows. Like I said, the others that he got had stripes that resembled the grade A more than these guys.

My concern is that he got 8 of them.Which is odd, because I thought ORA only lets RETAILERS buy 2 at a time.Another thing is the guy you bought them from dosent even have a STORE FRONT.Just my concerns!

The first and second bars are, for the most part, through developing. The third bar may still grow in. The second bar may change very very slightly, but no where near enough to turn these fish into grade A Picasso's.

Have you seen the ORA invoice? If ORA sold them as grade A, there is a major screw up somewhere. If I ordered, and paid for, grade A and they sent me those fish, I'd be on the phone with ORA.

Wow, I have been texting my guy, who emailed ORA, who sent him pics of some of the others. Apparently whoever picked the order picked the wrong clowns, and picked ORA Extreme Misbars instead. They are crediting him for all those clowns, plus sending him a new pair of Grade A, and 4 pairs of Grade B. I'm getting the Grade A ones.

Sorry for the arguments, like I said, I was just going by what the ORA invoice said.

Bingo, ORA admitted to the mess up. Anybody want to buy some ORA Extreme Misbars, haha
