UMMMMM. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but those are not grade A, ORA picasso's. Semi Picasso's maybe. Sorry.
They're still beautiful fish.
To the best of my knowledge, retailers can only order two ORA grade A Picasso's at a time. How did your guy get 8? Those are semi Picasso's or misbared perculas. I just hope you didn't pay $150 a piece for them. I'm not trying to argue with you. If your guy sold them to you as grade A Picasso's, he lied to you. Others will chime in before long to help set the record straight.
Just check this thread later tomorrow after more clownfish nuts have had a chance to respond.
They are great looking fish now, and they will be even more impressive as they mature. If you didn't pay grade A Picasso prices for them, you probably got a good deal. Enjoy them no matter what label we put on them. My only concern is if you paid for grade A and didn't get what you were told you were getting.
I am going to have to agree with "EC" here. Those sure don't look like any of the Grade A that I have seen.
The first and second bars are, for the most part, through developing. The third bar may still grow in. The second bar may change very very slightly, but no where near enough to turn these fish into grade A Picasso's.
Have you seen the ORA invoice? If ORA sold them as grade A, there is a major screw up somewhere. If I ordered, and paid for, grade A and they sent me those fish, I'd be on the phone with ORA.
