Shrimp Sighting

Never had much luck pairing them. did you getting them as a pair?
Such a awsume thing especially in a smaller tank when they are in the front.
My luck is they would move to the back.

Bought them separate. The shrimp went under the rocks right away, didn't see it for days. The Goby wandered around the tank aimlessly for days. Even had to fish him out of the overflow mesh sock once. A couple of days later I saw the head of the goby outside a sand hole. Soon after I noticed the shrimp with the goby. They found each other I would say within 7-10 days. They have different areas of the tank where they poke out. At least 3, so they do move around. That's why you need to make sure your rockwork is stable on the bottom of your tank.

Awesome! I love pistol shrimp and goby pairs, I find them endlessly entertaining. :D

I've always paired mine. Yellow Watchman goby and a Tiger Pistol shrimp (Alpheus bellulus) and they get together within days. I currently have two pairs in my 88 gallon tank. Sometimes they are digging at the back of the tank, but they always come back to an area where I can see them (front or side of the tank).
