shrimps arms paralyzed!!! HELP 911!!

ok first things firsttank is a 12 gal nano blablabla important stuff
waterquality is near perfect. 1.024 SG nitrite almost undetectable ph is 8.1 - 8.3 ( hard to tell)

anyways i have a cleaner shrimp in my tank for about 4 days so far. today i decided to buy another one and during aclimation the shrimps legs stoped moving. he cant stand or anything. ( same aclimation time as other shrimp. 30 minute slow drip)
well i decided to skip the last 10 minute of the acclimation and just let him into the tank... right now only one arm is able to move ( one with the claw) befor non of them were moving.


any chance for this shrimp or should i just take him out now and 'flush him'

Give him a chance. Shrimp are particularly sensitive to water changes---they need a long drip acclimation, about an hour. He may recover if nothing else changes.

anyways..... i was watching him and he started to move then had what appeared to be a seizur and is now ... sadly dead

sadest part is that he didnt quite seem right from the second i started the drip.. ok so. now everything else i got is doing fine. xenia frag seems happy . i hate loosing anything. but i did what i normaly do and i usualy dont have probloms. on my old tank i had shrimp BTA's corals feather dusters and never had somthing like this happen. so should i change the way i acclimate or just call this a 'doomed from the start' case

Osmotic shock is my guess.

What were the water params of the LFS water he came in with? It's not uncommon for LFS to run hypo salinity in their displays to help ward off disease. If that's the case you could have easily had a three or four point salinity differential and that's a bit hard for a shrimp to adjust to in only 20 minutes.

the lfs water is only .001 lower then mine
anyways.... just found some aiptasia so got that to worry about now!
