This is tempting as I've never seen a launch close up - what time is it due to go up?

around 6. i would get over here by 5 to save time in traffic. there is already an increase this morning. where marcye is talking about is a good place to view but it will be crowded. we have only so many police officers in town to direct traffic. you could always cut through ovideo and then pick up the boss and head over this way. give me a call and let me know. we are watching from my backyard. my wife and daughter will be doing beach clean-up for her club and they will be in cocabeach. funny how company's out there don't even get bothered by the lauches. business as usual.

I amy make a run up from tampa.

Can't leave until 4, so I will do my best to get as close as I can, I amy only make it to Orlando

I have to work tonight but Andy and one of his college buddies who is visiting us are thinking about heading your way soon. They were planning to go to Cocoa to fish, but they're telling me that if your place is an option, they'd love to watch from your backyard.

I'll drop you a pm with my cell #

seemed like a great launch!

almost picture perfect - launching with 3 of everything, very little debris & no delay on first scheduled date, with no delay.
Congratulations to Endeavour, and all 7 of its crew!

Good Luck & God Speed!

we tried to go to the 405 south/spacecamp area, but that was closed off and traffic was turned around. Ended up driving up and down a1 and parked in the mall parking lot, then found a spot on the water behind a building for lease. Got there with 10 minutes to watch after trying to leave 3 hours before launch! Would have rather had my camp chair and a bottle of beer..but hey they got up...what do I really have to worry about!
