Shy fish - coral beauty

So, I just bought a coral beuaty dwarf angel. He has been hiding in a little cave for the past 24 hours. I can see him in there and he is very healthy and colorful. I have no other fish currently. Does anyone have a tip or trick? Is there something wrong with him? Is he just being shy?

It is common for dwarf angels to be shy. It is perfectly natural for it to hide. As it becomes more familiar with its surroundings, you should see it more.

I believe you have posted that you have this fish in a 29 gallon tank that you started a month ago. Dwarf angels are "grazers", and you might have some difficulties with placing a dwarf angel in such a newly set-up tank. There are several foods on the market that are formulated for dwarf angels. The main goal is to provide a variety of algael and meaty-based foods. Your 29 is on the low side (actually the bottom) of recommended tank sizes for this fish, so I would be cautious about adding tankmates.

Falco hawk, a pair of clowns, a few snails and some easy corals, such as mushrooms, clove polyp, and zoanthids. He is still quite small and I was going to add the other fish within the month. I also like firefish but that would be pushing it, so...
