Sick Blue Tang!!! Need disease ID fast!!!!

My Blue Tang appears to be plagued with some kind of disease/parasite. Within the last two days it has gone from non-existent to full-fledged. It initially appeared as large white dots, similar to pin heads, but then quickly changed to pimple-like sores. I thought maybe Ich, but I've dealt with Ich before and this certainly does not seem like it. I've treated with Pimafix (anti-fungal/anti-bacterial medication) but without any noticeable improvement. This is one of my favorite fish and I'd hate to see him go. It's also strange because none of my other fish are showing symptoms. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks everyone!

Here are pictures as well as a quick vid for reference:

Don't know what it is. Tagging along.
Could it be secondary infection to ich wounds?

I'm giving this thread a bump because I have been struggling with this exact same issue for a few months with my own blue tang. During that time, the fish went through 6.5 weeks of refractometer-measured hyposalinity @1.0085 and it did absolutely nothing. I've noticed the spots lessen in number as I've made a stronger effort to increase diet and keep perfect water quality, but still they are there to some extent.

nemonick84: I've been searching for months to no avail on an ID of this disease. It seems to be new to the fish import/hobby because I've only ever seen one other reference to it on the internet (also just a vague "what is this?" type of post).
I'm continually searching and if I come up with anything, I will let you know.

The good news is -- at least in my own case -- the fish does not seem to be effected and it's appetite has remained up during the three months it has had it.

Good luck,
Julian
