sick clownfish

since I brought my clownfish home from the store he has been laying on his side all the time in the sand. when I tap on the glass he will swim around but then go right back to laying on the sand can someone tell me how to treat this

How old is the tank? What are the other inhabitants? Do you have Live rock? Do you have powerheads? Skimmer? what are the ammonia, nitrite, and pH. Details about your setup will help.

My clowns did similar things when I first got them. They ended up needing several months of hyposalinity treatment in quarantine. How long have you had him?
