Sick toadstool?

I have a toadstool for more than a year and all of a sudden it has started to lean over. The color of the sharft has changed mid way up. Does anyone know what would cause what ever this is and can it be remedied? I have not added anything to the tank in a long time either.

My guess would be it is getting stung by the Trachyphliia in close proximity to it

I have one just like that and form day one it has leaned over and I don't know why. I dont' have anything to sting it.
