Simu LED Spots

They are not that complicated, I was also concerned when I ordered them.....
Just use the Illumination3 and 4 they are already set for these stick or spot.

Put you blues on L3 and your reds on L4. Also set you moon simu on L3.

If you have 2, plug one and only one in and do the programming with the button that says "Program LED-lamp"
Make one of them react to flash 1 and do it again and select Blue white moonlight
unplug it and do the same except make it react to flash 2 for the other on and also set to Blue-White Moonlight.

Then you can plug them both in...

I have the simu-sticks (2)
I am about to post some screen shots. I know that I would have loved to have those when I was installing them :)

I have two Spots

I'm not sure if the spots are the same as the sticks if so
remember to set your 1-10v interface to .08 and 10 for the
channels they are on.

My sticks are very bright so I only run them up to 33% for
moonlights then let the moonphase dim them down from there.

The reds I run up to 80% dimming them down along with
the Actinic T-5 Bulbs for the last hour of the day.

The spots have the blue and red built in together, so while I have them in the L1/L2 both would be controlling both colours. So I think my settings will be a bit different.

Lorin any chance of doing some other pages and posting them in the ProfiLux vs Ac thread please

Lets show what the ProfiLux is all about:D

My Lighting curves

1 = Two Actinic T-5 Bulbs
2 = Three 10K White & One Actinic T-5 Bulbs
3 = Moonlights
4 = SunRise/Set

Have Fun!

Thanks for your help guys, much appreciated.

Do you guys keep your red lights on throughout the duration of you main lighting?

I was thinking of letting them peak at 100% just after my halides come on and them have them turn off after my halides reach capacity. Then have them turn back on to 100% before the halides turn off, and then dim for 2hrs.

On the 1-10v Interfaces page there's a selection to Program Led, Whats this about? Right now mine is on swap channels.

Thanks, but I was looking for more of a description of each choice, and what the difference is between the choices.

OK then
YOu want configure you spot to react to the flashes since you have 2 of them, you configure one to react to flash 1 and the other one to react to flash 2 otherwise it will way too intense off flash if they both react to all flashes. (make that you have only one plugges to configure this.)

The other option is to invert your red and blue, let says that your red are on L3 and blue on L4 you could switch that. Which means that your reds will blue on L4 and your blues will L3 (both can be plugged for that)

ANd the 3 bottom one just for the moonlight preference, you may like a white moonlight or a blue moonlight, just try them and pick the one you like. (both can be plugged for that)
