Single Controller 'Sticking'

I got a single controller for a 6000 and was just seeing if anyone else has had the problem of the food timer button sticking. I just noticed it last night but when you depress the button to turn the food timer on, it is sticking. It stays in the depressed position until you wiggle it back up. This creates a problem because the pump will not turn back on!!

I haven't had time to take the box apart and look at it but was just seeing if anyone has had this problem before.

It may not be an issue if I get the nerve up and buy a multicontroller with another 6000 :eek1: :bum:

It is pretty simple to fix, it happens occasionally. You just have to open the controller (two screws and pop off the knobs) and then realign the button with the hole. If you don't feel comfortable I can do it.

I'll take a look at it tonight. It did look like it was off-centered last night and I was too tired to take it apart. Thanks for the quick respose Roger.

Got it taken apart. It was easy. What I did was just use a de-bur knife and made the hole a little bigger on the opening on the display. That way if the button moves at a akward angle it will not get stuck anymore.
