Sinistard's 68.8 Acrylic Tank Journal [Photo Intense]

On a not so happy note my tank is showing signs of some major Crazing in the seams. Here is a post I made in the equipment forum. I hope I can get some advice on what to do although I'm afraid the advice will be replace it.

My 5 year old Acrylic Tank is getting some major Crazing in the seams. I was wondering if I need to replace this thing ASAP or do you think it will be ok for some time.

The tank is 44x18x20. It is made with 3/8 acrylic and is Euro-braced.

In hindsight this tank should have probably been made of 1/2 as it does have a noticeable bow along the front edge. Maybe 1/8th inch.

I would prefer to hang on to this for a while as I don't have the cash to get a new tank built but if there is an eminent danger of a catastrophic failure I would find a way to get it done as I don't want the tank to fail and ruin my floors/kill livestock/cause a fire.

Thanks for any advice.

Here are a couple pictures of the worst area.

How did you mount those things on their side? did you use glue? because the ports for the screws are in the front of the strip not on the side are they?

is there a power strip that one could buy that has multiswitches and is side cabnet mountable?.
