Six Line Wrasse - Ich?

I QT all fish before they go in my display. My tank has been (from what I observe) ich free for years. Yesterday, I noticed this dot on my six line wrasse - the same day as I picked up two new arrivals and put them in my QT. Now my mind is playing tricks on me, telling me I cross-contaminated "stuff", but there is no way the ich would be visible on the first day.

Any ideas? Sometimes I see something like this on my hippo tang, but it turns out to be a grain of sand and falls off when it swims around. It also doesn't appear to be underneath the scales - it looks like it is hanging on, on the outside. Could it be a flake or a scale or something?

No, the wrasse is in my display tank. It just so happens there was a tiny bare patch of no sand where the pic was taken

How did you make out? I'm seeing something on my six line.
