Skimmer Decision

Currently I have a Turbofloater but I'm just not happy with its performance on my tank.

I only have room for a MR2 or a Euro 6-2, I dont know if I can fit the 6-2+, would have to do some more measuring. Which to do? :rollface:

Well, local guy had a 6-1 forsale for a good price. OMG what a difference over the Turbofloater. I cant believe I put up with that TF1000 for a yr.

Well, it was local and a great deal. I could of always sold it if need be, but Im happy compared to the old.

I vote for the Euroreef. What size tank do you plan on useing the new skimmer on?

Its a 90 with prob 20 in the sump. I may possibly down the road go to a 8-2 now that I kinda got an idea on how to sneak it in. The 6-1 will do fine for now though.

In about an hour running its pulled out more than the TF1000 did in 1 1/2 days.

becketts require large pumps and use a lot of electricity, go with asm or euro reef, do a great job and are way more energy efficient.
