Skimmer Mods

I recently acquired an old ASM Mini G skimmer and would like to make it more efficient. I will obviously be doing the gate valve mod and am considering a recirculation mod or just replacing the old pump with something better. Would simply upgrading to the G500(next model up) make any noticeable difference in the amount of skim pulled?

Probably.

Mesh modding may help as well, depending on what pump it has.


Mesh modding doesn't last years though, so I quit messing with it.
