skimmer options

hey guys with all ya guys/gals out there im sure ya can help me out...in the next few months i'll be looking for a new skimmer im sure,im tired on my remora its too eratic and when its not it doesnt skim much anyways so im asking whats a good skimmer thats cost effective.....i want to maybe have one that skims up to 90g or so....i think even 80 would be cool but anyways ya guys let me know...thanks

Part of the answer is going to depend on the footprint you have to work with.

That would be a decent choice, I have heard they are pretty good skimmers for the money. Another to look at would be the Octopus line of smaller skimmers, Plus you can find them used for cheaper than a new one. Hope this helps.

hey guys i just messured and since my quietone 3000 takes up some room it will only let me have about a 5x5 section left and that skimmers footprint is 10x5 could i not mod it to sit out of my sump some how or is there a skimmer thats any cood that can fit my space? btw thanks Bill and Jen

Mario, teh coralife super skimmers can fit in a small area and the 65 would work for you (check dims). I had one and it worked pretty good for an inexpensive model.
