skimmer upgrade suggestions?

hello,

i'm looking for a larger skimmer suggestion. would prefer in sump, max 15" x 16" footprint, and not have to spend a couple grand

i would prefer one that i can use on my current system, and will be large enough to use when i upgrade.

current system 175g total water volume. upgrading to around 300g total. i run a heavy load...

at the moment i have a vertex omega 150.

contemplating...

- reef octo 10" regal 250 int
- avast sc3 kit
- auamaxx cones c0-3
- skimz monzter ?
- ???

suggestions?

i need to decide quickly so i can go ahead and piece my new sump together

Reef Octopus 10" Regal 250INT Internal Protein Skimmer, Well Stocked Tank - Rated up to 300 gallons, for the money and a good pump this is the one I would go with.

also considering the aquamax am350 i haven't seen many reviews for it though.

i will probably keep it. even if i sell it, it would be local only. i sold an omega 130 a couple weeks ago. checked on shipping, and it would have run over $100.

I'm a big fan of reef octopus. They work great, quiet and easy to fine tune.
