well... not much to say, I will post pics once skirts appear. if they have a nice green color it would make an interesting purple people eaters morph.

Could elevated phosphates be the culprit? I've got a couple zoa colonies who were healthy and fully open for some time, but recently my tank hit a problem with elevated phosphates (up to 2.0), and they now look remarkably similar to those pictured here.

they came like that from LFS. see other zoas look normal. they opened up a little bit today more. I also run phosban reactor and did my weekly water change on Monday.

That is exactly what mine look like. They had been fine for a year, now all my colonies look that way. My phosphates are 0. I've done everything I could think of, and nothing seems to work. I posted all my info on a different thread.
