skittish fish

hello all,

just after some thoughts on what i should try to get my tank to calm down a bit..

my fish seem to be breathing heavily and darting from rock to rock, the occasionaly scratch on the sand from my koran is also a little worrying so i am on the lookout for whitespot on any of my fish,

tank is 100g, 29g sump, fish include,

Scopas tang
Koran angel
Blue spot puffer
royal dottyback
dragon goby
yellow clown goby

my parameters seem to be fine, i have checked this morning.

i have an airstone in the tank under the return so ive got bubbles throughout the tank (no corals), temp is around 25.5 celcius
salinity was high at around 1.028 so i lowered it with a fresh water top up last night and then another this morning, its at 1.023.

would this drop in salinity cause this hyperactivity and increased breathing?

all fish eat like pigs, i am making sure they are getting 2 meals in the morning and evening and a small one at lunch.

where would you look to find out why they seem stressed?

Cheers Adam

Your fish have been infected with ick. You cannot see the ick since the ick is living in the gills of the fish. That is why the fish are breathing heavily.
