Anyone ever reered these guys? would like some info on how to care for the babies. What type of plankton to dose and other questions... If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

Theres one person here that has raised them really good. Just do a search on raising skunk cleaner shrimps, and go to the link from reef central.

Skunk cleaners are nearly impossible to raise though, there is only a few who have succesfully raised them. I would start out and gain experience with peppermints, they are much easier and I think a bit more people have raised them succesfully, like myself. And I could give you tonsof info on them.

That shrimp is far from releasing its eggs. The night it releases, it will be maybe 2-3 times more bloated. It usually takes around 27-28 days after it becomes pregnant for the release.

I agree, very nice picture. And yes those are eggs, but it will be awhile until it releases them.

Mine gets these eggs about once a month. But has been the solitary skunk shrimp in my system for 2 years. Do they store sperm or something?

I think all lysmata shrimp can store sperm, especially peppermints. but I think it would be difficult for the eggs to be fertilized. After my peppermint lost its mate, it wasn't able to fertilize its last batch with the saved sperm.
