They have more of Finger Foods type stuff. I'm not sure if they will let us bring food in or not need to find out.

Yes they have Beer.. Last time we did not get the bar, and I had to keep going over to the bar side.. This time we got the bartender, so they will have beer, along with soda.

OK that sounds good. The reason I ask is because I live 1 hour and 30 minutes away( the only reason I'm not a member of slash) I just didn't want to make the hike and have to pay the same price.

WOW I don't know how they make it to all the meatings? I'm also a full time stundent and work part time, that could be why. My schedule is pretty full but I can get someone to work for me on the 2nd, and it will be the day before my B-day so the wife can't complaine if I spend too much. Muhahahahahahahaha. Can't wait to meet some of you guys. I met D french so far but thats it. Great guy though.

Your not too far. I'm in the Benton IL 25 miles north of carbondale. Map quest says I'm 101 miles away and 1 hour 44 min trek. I wish I were closer though, because SLASH is the closest club to me. Maybe after school I'll be moving tthat way, because the HVAC jobs around here are over saturated.

I love burritos! There was a restaurant in Indy that's name was "Burritos as big as your head" and they were that size and AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

(1) I don't think there going to allow food to be brought in being they sell it. Meaning you can get it right there.

(2) I don't think food is important in anyway whatsoever, this is after all a FRAG SWAP which has nothing to do with food. If it's that important to you then by all means eat before you arrive and keep something in your car so you can jog out grab a bite and the return. Most folks are attending due to the Saltwater related items and to meet others and seek heplfull tips, tricks and guidance within the hobby.

(3) I think Phil here is going crazy?? First he want's all the apitasia he can get his hands on and now he wants to turn the frag swaps into food swaps??? Phil, have you been sun tanning under your MH?? Or drinking the skimmate??:mixed:
