SLASH Frag and Equipment SWAP, Sunday, March 2nd!!!!

Question for your guys... Having never been to one of these before... Is it something that my husband and 10 year old can come with me to - or is it more of a member only thing?

How early can we get in to set up the frag tanks? I am worried about getting the water up to temp. TIA

I would say 11:15-11:30. I know Lonnie said he was going to get there at 11:00 and I should be there then also. I do not know if we have to do anything with the lodge or just carry our stuff in but you should be good at that time for setting stuff up.

Is this a test :D What is the prize? I believe the tanks that would be associated with our hobby would be all the way to the left when you walk in.....

Why? Because that clown has no stripes?

I have never been to a frag swap, I would be coming from Springfield IL, How much do frags typicaly run? I understand you will have you more rare sensitive or exotic pieces that will cost more. I am not really sure what I am looking for as of yet. Just wanna make sure I bring enough $$$ with me.

Anywhere from free (if you're lucky) to $15 typically for "ordinary" stuff. I have been to many frag swaps where I took $50, bought a bunch of raffle tickets, and came home with lots of frags. These days, my goal is to break even--sell as much as I buy. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be at this one.

Im not looking to rob anyone, I currently have a 29 and getting stuff together for a 75gal DT, 140ish gal system. I would like to be able to pick up a bunch of stuff and have gas money to get home one lol......be my best bet to fill back up first when I get there.

Have some good news and bad news.

I was just told that George the maker of GEO Reactors, has the flu and will not be able to make it Sunday :(

The good news is..
We will have a GEO 618 Calcium Reactor for raffle at the swap, donated in the name of Aquatic Treasures, since they are now available to purchase there.
