Slow Growth after Fish Attack??

A few months ago, I took a chance on an angelfish that was supposedly not touching anything in someone else's mixed reef. Acclimated him at night, and woke up the next morning to see he had eaten some Zoas. By the second morning, he had devastated my favorite colonies.

Now, the colonies he damaged are very slow growing, but the couple that he didn't touch are growing fine. Has anyone seen something like this before?

Yeah, they are probably super stressed, give them some time to recover...I take it the angel is gone now?

Yes, I got him out within a couple of days of him going in there. This has been 4 or 5 months now, at least.

It takes a lot of energy for them to recover, then add a large amount of energy it takes to clone your self or create a baby polyp
