Small Store around 2500 Lawrence Ave?

Was driving in the city, and on Lawrence Ave there was a small shop -- Lucy's or Lori's Aquatics, freshwater and saltwater was on the sign outside.

It was on Lawrence Ave, anyway.

Anyone know what I'm talking about???

Menard mentioned this shop awhile ago and he mentioned they might be getting into SPS. I haven't been there yet.

Ive been there several times and the owner if very cool. He has some corals some sps, lps and fish but over all its a small shop who can pick up just about any thing for you. Its worth stopping by if only because he is in the neighborhood and just opened the store because he loves the hobby.

I pass by there every day to and from the office. It opened about a year ago. I just noticed recently they added a sign for corals being available. Never been in there. It's on Lawrence near Francisco, I think. South side of the street. Big fish on the sign.

Yup, right near the lake in Uptown. Been there about 10 years. ALso have an office in the Loop.

- fyi, Donna's Aquatic Petshop @ 3066 w. lawarence/corner albany street. (ken/owner773_8662980).
- cons = street parking and corals for nano aquariums
- pros = in the northside of city with petrol @ $4/g.
small store price with big freshwater fish selection.

No. He means hard to park on the street, and the corals are small and few (I am guessing here). And he likes that it's close to him with gas to $$$ to get to the far-away places.

not a huge coral selection but I thought the prices were pretty good for the size corals he has. Especially for the city. I haven't found the street parking to be all that bad, maybe I have just been lucky.


I think if you are in the area he is definitely worth checking out. Very cool guy.

And I thought the address was 3055 west lawrence. But that doesn't matter, it is close enough.
