I feel really stupid but I am having issues trying to add the booster to my existing RO System (Spectrapure Maxcap-RODI-180-10 dual membrane). Has anyone installed it and have a picture of how it is suppose to setup? I tried watching the video from MarineDepot but it doesn't seem to apply to a dual membrane setup. Please Help!!!!!

Thanks for the reply.

I guess the real issue I am having is that there are a total of 6 different connecting that goes into this booster. I think I see how to hook it up but I do not want to screw up and mess up the membranes. I know one of the membrane has a pressure gauge on it and I believe I have to connect the boost to the membrane before the pressure gauge? Also the instruction states that the flow restrictor needs to be bypass, I removed the restriction inside my Spectrapure RO System tube (picture attached). But I do not see any other restrictor on the unit. I am a newbie when it comes to RO system.

Spectrapure MaxCap 90 and Smart Buddie Booster?????

Spectrapure MaxCap 90 and Smart Buddie Booster?????

Ummmmmm Anybody still out there in 2017? I have a Spectrapure MaxCap 90 and a Smart Buddie Booster I just purchased. Im lost. Pictures of the hook up would be appreciated, or a really good explanation.

I can't help you but I'm watching.
I just hooked up my MaxCap 90 with Auto Flush last night and I'm only getting 30 psi.
That's at least 15 psi less than my old FilterGuys RO/DI said I was getting.
Only got 25g in the past 12 hours.

Well I figured out where all the connections went with the Smart Buddie Booster and the Spectrapure MaxCap 90gpd. Have it running for an hour down the drain, but the pressure gage doesn't work. The instructions with the Smart Buddie said to remove the flow restrictor from the RO/DI unit as the booster pump already has a flow restrictor, but my directions with the R0\DI unit says that a missing flow restrictor is the reason for pressure gage not working. Anybody have any experience with this???
