Smoking Scolymia

I caught my Scolymia spewing smoke. I ran and got the camera. It had slowed down a lot by the time I got some frames. Is it spawning or expelling zooxanthellae? My Skimmer is going crazy.

That has got to be the worse case of heart burn I have ever seen!!!

It is spawning, and it isn't a scoly its a meat corals.

Yeah, definitely looks meat coral to me too but a top picture would help ID it best.

No, its an Acanthophyllia deshayesiana. (common name "meat coral")

How long have you had this coral?

It was the first one I put in my 125. I think March of 2010. It was pretty big when I got it.

Guess I'll have to change my sig LOL
