Snail couldn't right himself not looking good , anything I can do?

I had a snail that was stuck between some rock for an unknown period of time. He was retracted into the shell when i found him. I placed him back on the sand bed. He's hardly moving but I can tell he's not dead.

Is there anything I can do to help him at this point?

It happens. They sometimes die.
If he's moving, that's a good sign.
Give him a sniff test if you have any doubts.

If he's a pointy top snail and you put him on the sandbed he'll fall over again and ultimately die. Put those guys on the rockwork. They can't crawl on sand.
