About 30 minutes after lights out I noticed these guys for the first time ever. I have a ton of baby troch snails that come out at night but I've never noticed these before. Small brown and white striped shells with what looks like a long siphon like a nassarius. I'm reallllly hoping my two adult nasa gifted me with some babies. Can anyone confirm??

No, they're itty bitty marginellids, Volvarina species. They eat other tiny animals, including smaller snails, and may scavenge on meaty leftovers.

Cheers,

Don

Thank you Since I saw them crawling on one of my scans, I was terrified they were some coral destroying pest. Very glad to hear that they aren't. Thanks again!
