snail ID please.

i had some snails pop up a couple months ago that i'm not sure where they came from. the only thing i added within a few months before i saw them was dry marco rocks. when i first saw them they were about the size of the light bulb in this smiley :idea: and moved extremely fast. they could cover the front of my 55 gallon in a couple minutes. anyway, here are a couple pics... also, the white sphere shaped things have popped up in the last couple days. sorry the pics aren't better. any time i zoom in on the tank my phone's camera makes the picture look really low resolution... especially evident in the second picture. guess i need to use manual white balance as well, so people aren't seeing a white and gold tank.

It looks to me like a stomatella. Harmless little things, and a nice find. Google them and make sure it matches in shape.

thanks. they are definitely similar shaped. i wanted to confirm since the the pics i had seen were all solid colors like brown or black

Unusual variant, but yes, it's a Stomatella.
