Snail ID --- reef safe?

Nassarius typically have cleaner shells from living under the sand and mud much of the time. Those look more like one of the small whelks, and likely predatory. Really need a good look at the opening of one with that animal fully retracted.
 
I'm with Bill, look like whelks. I have found the whelks in the mud along with the nassarius , but usually see them on rock or debris in shallow water.
 
Nope, not Ilyanassarius obsoleta anymore than they are Nassarius vibex ;)

BTW vibex do have an operculum, just a rather small one.
