I posted these pics up in the other invert forum without much luck. Maybe someone here has an ID. I have a bunch of a these snails in my tank. They are nocturnal. They do not appear to be eating corals or any other snails. I am concerned about them only because of the sheer number of them. Here is a some pics I took, maybe they can help ID these guys.

Thanks

I forget the name, I know I will struggle with the name all night.

They are harmless and will self limit their numbers, I am fairly certain the eat diatoms mostly and some other algae by proxy.

I had them in my cube, after a couple years my substrate turned into primarily those snail shells, they do not live too long and do not get any bigger than that, but they reproduce liek the dickens.

Ceriths get bigger faster, so they are not baby ceriths, atleast not the ones sold in LFS.

I will try and remember.

But I could use some Stomatella if anyone knows where they are locally. I never see them at MS but I had one once and he was very cool. Good to know these little guys are not bad. There are tons of them though so I guess I am a breeder now lol

The pictures are not very good, they looked like cap snails to my eyes.

I've got a bunch of hitchiker stomatella's. I could probably find 5-10 if you want to trade or buy.
