Snail Problem

I have a 10 gallon nano tank which has been up and running for about 6 months now. Recently, at night, I have been noticing an extreme amount of snails all over my glass. It is actually kind of ridiculous and a little excessive. They are probably no bigger than the smallest bead you can think of but there is probably a snail every couple square inches. I was wondering if there is any way to get rid of them naturally such as a fish or something. If not, shall I just scrape them out at night?

Dont kill them please or let fish eat them..If you want to get rid of them id pay shipping to take a few off your hands for my zoa tank.

If they look like little beads, white with reddish brown or brown markings, they are probably Collonista snails, or related turbinids. They are algae grazers, and most people are glad to have them. I'm sure there are lots of people who'd like some.

Cheers,

Don

Suppose I will keep them then because they aren't visible during the day but they aren't really helping my tank. I need something to get rid of the red stuff all over my sand. I can't figure out what is causing it.
