Snails Breading

Hell all, in the last few days I have found TONS of tiny white snails all over my glass.How can I tell if they are safe in my reef ?
I got a new coral the other day so I am guessing they were on the rock

I guess breeding ? I did not buy them and there are a bunch of them in my tank now all over
must be 25 that I can see

Scargot; Delicious! Simmer them in milk and battered egg, roll them in the bread crumbs and fry them in olive oil and garlic.

Probably harmless. The harmful snails are generally whelks or others of their ilk, and the others eat algae.

Now seriously, I think the little guys are OK, unfortunately not many survive
