Snails Smoking ????

Came home today and tank looked all cloudy.. then noticed the snails were appeard to be smoking and then releasing bubbles??? can anyone respond to this im kinda freaked out??????

Stomatella snails puff smoke like little train engines---and move fast. They're breeding when they do that.

When you have a spawn in your tank, good idea to run carbon in a sock or bag to clean the water.

They are spawning. Basically they are making free coral and fish food. Your skimmer should take care of the rest. No worries.

weeww so the cloudy water is fine.... awesome.... Thanks now i wonder if im going to have 10,000 snails anytime soon.....

while i got you ppl here i have another question... I am cycling the live rock kalini been about 7 weeks im guessing... alge is almost gone on the rocks and now i se like a transparent kinda alge kinda hairy.... short hair but its everywhere..... anyone have this before....????
