Do snails reproduce in a reef enviorment?? I have tiny snails about the size of a pod all over my aquarium. I wondered if these came from the larger snails in my cleanup crew or if they a from the live rock??

Some do, but most likely you are seeing fully adult snails. Small snails like that are common hitchhikers. A photo might tell the story.

I have had snails lay eggs, but never hatch. Even if they did hatch i think corals, fish, and filters would make short work out of them.

I believe some stometella snails reproduce.

I have Stomatella snails reproducing in my system.

There are some people i know that are actually breeding Nassarius snails in their system ... he just woke up one day and voila ... there they had infected the tank in all reality.

i have baby ceriths in mine. i can count about 20 on the glass at any given time. the cerith snails have probably laid eggs 15 times in the tank, and all i can count is a few. most snails will reproduce in the tank. but most fish will eat the eggs like caviare. :D the only snails i have had reproduce into adults so far is the collonistas. but they stay tiny.
