as I have not found another way that would working naturally, except one. Where could I buy an oxydator from? Also, if I go the fluconazole way of dosing, where can that be bought without a prescription? What are the dosing procedures?

TIA

It puts more oxygen in the tank and somehow that will kill any algae from what I have read. Also supposed to be good for fish, corals, and clarity of the water. This is what I have read. So plz don't take it as I know exactly what I am talking about....cause I don't lol

I think you are confusing oxygenator with an ozone generator. The former won't do anything for your tank. An ozone generator, in conjunction with a good skimmer, can reduce nutrients in your tank and help with nuisance algae.

i removed it pretty easily by removing individual rocks and spraying with hydrogen peroxide. that was when i had a smaller tank, might not be an option for you, but it did work well

Ty. I have a 29g, but got some fluconazole from a friend last night, and started using it already.

I've got some bryopsis in my tank, and bought some fluconozole to deal with it. Over time it seems to be slowly dying back on its own though, so I haven't dosed the tank yet. From what I've read in long threads from others that have done it though, there are basically no ill effects.

I am sorry but that is simply not true. The way an Oxydator works has a similar effect to ozone IE it will raise the redox and help clean the water similar to ozone. Oxydators have done a lot for people's tanks, however, lie ozone it may not help with Bryopsis very much but some think it does help in the fight to combat it.
