This may be on the small end of "Large Reef Tanks", but if figure a 150 with ~22 gallons in the sump, and top-off containers, etc. could be good enough to put in this forum. Hope you don't mind.
After a few years of fresh water in a 46 gallon, I got tired of seeing all the cool stuff you could do with a saltwater system, so I finally bit the bullet and dove in. I am now a reef addict.
Started this 150 (60x24x24) about 2.5 years ago. After many lessons learned, and learning much from you all, I think it is dialed in nicely now.
Just got a Canon 2TI D-SLR, which is my first real SLR camera, so I am still trying to understand that whole thing, but here are my first attempt at some pics (probably some over/under exposed, wrong settings, etc).
enjoy....
FTS:
In-stand Sump:
Fish room is the tiny closet under the stairs behind the tank: All electrical is run through hole in wall to American DJs, timers, and Ballasts. Top-off water/kalk is in a 20 gallon Brute.
Calcium, Alkalinity, and top-off are all run on BRS pumps with timers:
Lights are strictly T5s. Running 7 48" bulbs:
Bulb combo: 4 ATI Blue Plus, 1 GE 6500K Daylight 1 UVL 75/25 and 1 UVL Actinic White
