This may be on the small end of "Large Reef Tanks", but if figure a 150 with ~22 gallons in the sump, and top-off containers, etc. could be good enough to put in this forum. Hope you don't mind.

After a few years of fresh water in a 46 gallon, I got tired of seeing all the cool stuff you could do with a saltwater system, so I finally bit the bullet and dove in. I am now a reef addict.
Started this 150 (60x24x24) about 2.5 years ago. After many lessons learned, and learning much from you all, I think it is dialed in nicely now.

Just got a Canon 2TI D-SLR, which is my first real SLR camera, so I am still trying to understand that whole thing, but here are my first attempt at some pics (probably some over/under exposed, wrong settings, etc).

enjoy....

Fish room is the tiny closet under the stairs behind the tank: All electrical is run through hole in wall to American DJs, timers, and Ballasts. Top-off water/kalk is in a 20 gallon Brute.

Calcium, Alkalinity, and top-off are all run on BRS pumps with timers:

Lights are strictly T5s. Running 7 48" bulbs:

The tank is gorgeous. I love the layout of the corals.

And I hate to be that guy, but 3 tangs & a foxface in a 150, plus 20-something other fish seems a bit cramped.

everyone bashes people for having too many fish or too many tangs, but i love them and from the pictures, those tangs look super small. i dont think it is a big problem. (i had 2 in my 55, and i have over 6 in my 240 and wouldn't be scared to add more)

Thanks... Believe me, you are not the first to say that I have overstocked. And actually i'ts 4 tangs and a rabbit, there is a yellow tang i didn't get a picture of.
None of the tangs/rabbit are very large yet. Everyone seems to have plenty of room and all get along great. The aquascape is deceivingly open, nothing is on the back wall. Basically made 5 towers by drilling holes in rock and using PVC to stand the rock. Hopefully once the fish get too large I will have upgraded to a larger tank. But for now, It's all good.

Full fish list:
1 Powder Blue Tang
1 Regal Tang
1 Yellow Tang
1 Tomini Tang
1 Magnificent Rabbitfish
7 Blue/Green Chromis
3 Lyretail Anthias
2 Bartletts Anthias
1 Cardinalfish
1 Mandarin
2 Percula
1 Mystery Wrasse
1 Female Bellus

I'm not going to bash you at all, it's your tank, and you're free to do what you want with it. And from the looks of it, you've been able to maintain it so far, so more power to you.
I think the tank is beautiful, and you managed to get a lot of different coral in there without it looking like a fruit stand. Nicely done.

Thanks, appreciate it. Didn't think you were bashing, you were just making an observation. It's all good.
