i couldn't resist this guy when i stopped by my shop. i'm pretty sure its a gigantea, they had about 6 of them (green and blue) and two dark green haddoni (if I can match the pictures up with my memory).

i was SO EXCITED. I never see any carpets for sale locally and online they are expensive (and i don't trust to ship one). a steal IMO.

Looks like a S. gigantea to me as well, and a bunch hit LA this last week. And you don't have to worry, they're not known as fish eaters.

If your looking for carpets, check out PTF (Pasadena Tropical Fish). I just got my red haddoni this past thursday. They had a blue Had, and a couple of Giags in. They tend to get them in fairly often but they go pretty fast. They are located on Colorado blvd, but I don't know the main address. GL

i got a red carpet from ptf almost 2 months ago now --and it is doing good so far --they do get in some healthy carpets there
