Corals warfare happens regularly in a close enviroment so I run carbon to keep that to a minimum. I used to have zoas covered a maxima clam and the only thing you can see is the mantle which is cool. I though it was going to kill the clam but it was fine so sometime you just have to let them play it out.

If you were to ask me the coolest thing I have seen in a reef tank that would be it, that LARGE maxima's shell covered with zoas.
