So what is everyones plans for the long weekend?

We are hitting the road in about 6 hours for Bull Shoals. Weekend should be perfect for swimming, drinking, boating and anything else the happens along the way. They say the catfish are biting so I will put out about 20 jugs in 2-3 coves, pour a margarita, put on some Buffet and fish through the night

Heck, I may as well leave work now, I cant concentrate for crap.

Where do you go down there? My sisters weekend house is there just outside of THeodosia. Thats beautiful lake. We did a few dives there too last 4th of July. I'm head to my lake place, "The Love Shack", for the weekend in Lonedell, MO. I have some work to do cleaning up the place and cutting some trees down. Power tools and beer! Lots of fun!

Did you get a chance to see the fireworks from a boat while you were there? there is nothing cooler than watching fireworks amidst 100's of other boats, then everyone moving up lake at the end in the dark. Now THAT will make you pucker at times LOL

Yeah, we went to Theodosia one night and Pontiac the next. Her dock is right in the middle of the two. It was a great weekend. The fireworks were very impressive for such a seemingly small operation.

If you get a chance, head down to the dam which is where the big display is. You need a hand help GPS to find your way back at night, but wow is it good.

Take the amount of boats at the pontiac one last year and multiply it by 4.

We are hitting RibFest Friday and watching Peter Frampton, Sat. I am replacing a pond liner and then Six Flags and bbq the rest of the weekend. Should be a nice quiet weekend.
