So... Where do you shop?

That's the right address and zip. It shows up on mapquest. Towne Centre Ln might be the little lane the strip mall is on.

If everyone's comfortable with green bay, Here is... Kewanee and Manitowoc... Any help would be apreciated.... Additions and such... after manitowoc, we'll move to Appleton/Menasha unless we need to add Kass in between.

Any chance you have one of the maps for the Madison area. I'm in the area for a few days and would like to see what you guys have out this way. Anything good within an hour or so I'd travel to as well since it's always worth the trip to get the good stuff.
Thanks,
Walter

Not sure I had "much" in the Madison area... Say... try posting in the MARS forum... MARS is the Madison Area Reefers ...

I found a new one in Madison last time I was down.

Living Art, Aquarium
(608)827-6144
8215 Plaza Dr. Suite A
Madison WI 53719

Here's a couple of updates - Animal Adventure Pets in Appleton closed down a couple of months ago. And Aquatic Specialties (Specialists?) in Madison (on University Ave) closed down sometime recently too.

Living Art is a really nice store - found it a couple of weeks ago. The owner seemed like a really nice guy too. It's a small place (JUST fish - extremely minimal supplies) - about a 60/40 split between fresh and salt. A few tanks of frags and a really nice reef tank for larger corals. (oh - and that website is livingartaquarium.com - not net ;))

It sucks there's not much left in Appleton anymore. :(

Anyone been to Coral Boy? Worth the drive?

He is, but call first and set an appointment. He's in and out. Last time I called he never returned it. He's a busy guy. Last time I ran into him at T.Bell he said he expanded and filled another tank or two...

"Just Pets" is the only show in Appleton besides big-boxes. :(

Man...I'd think this area would be ripe for a good fish shop. :sad1:

Petland, 441 and college, will have saltwater in the future (several months) the owner told me. They do have some saltwater supplies now.

Wonder where they'll put saltwater livestock? That store isn't that big. (it used to be a Blockbuster - but it feels 1/2 the size that Blockbuster was)
It's definitely not a destination spot if you're just curious. Hopefully that'll change with whatever they have planned. They have more space dedicated to plastic plants and kids character-themed aquariums and bubbling pirate skeletons than to "essential" dry goods. I guess that shows their target demographic... (plus, seeing those cute puppies caged up is kinda depressing  )

I will say though that their freshwater fish look nice - and they have a really nice selection of live plants. If they get saltwater fish, hopefully they'll look as good.

They've got decent pricing on tanks too. They got me special order pricing on a couple of tank/stand/canopy setups. Their prices beat others that I'm getting by quite a bit. Right now it looks like I'll be ordering with them and then piecing the rest together elsewhere for pretty substantial $$$ savings.

I know this is an old thread, Just curious if there is an updated list?.... I'm putting together a list for our clubs site, and looking for stores...

Tried to pm you 2 Far... but you box is full....

If you would like, send me your email I'll send you the Microsoft Streets file, with everything listed... and the word document. I went back to school last year, and stopped shortly after, updating it. I have the last store, Scotty's new one, but I hear that there is another in Green Bay, and Jeff is closing or moving, so... no... there are 2 changes... but it could all be yours....

Swing by my place and I'll give you a copy of Streets.. for your very own... just bring me 2 blank dvds.

Jason
